A bright light shines upon me.
The light of the world, not of this world.
A darkness surrounding me,
Full of fears, doubts, and sins,
Is penetrated
And nothing but light remains.

The examination begins,
Everything brought into light.
All hidden details, invisible,
Now made visible.
All of me is seen, the good and bad.
The heat of the light makes me uncomfortable,
Penetrating through my heart, revealing my intricacies,
The ones I don’t want to see.

But the more He zooms in
The more beauty appears,
And all I can do
Is come closer to the light.
